Happy Choti Diwali and Narak Chaturdasi to all
Happy Choti Diwali to all! So guys, today is the second day of this festive day which is also considered as ‘Narak Chaturdasi’ or ‘Kali Chaudas’. There is a reason before getting this name.
The second day of the Diwali festival, is the fourteenth day of the dark fortnight of the month of Ashvin, and is called Narak-Chaturdashi or Kali Chaudas and also known as Choti (-small) Diwali. This very day a demon called ‘Narkasur‘ was defeated by Lord Krishna’s Sudarshan Chakra.
The story is like; when the demon had imprisoned all the natives and started killing people; the Lord Krishna got worried. He asked his wife Satyabhama to defeat that demon.
As a symbol of the victory Lord Krishna smeared his own forehead with the demon’s blood. On his return, the womenfolk massaged his body with scented oils and gave him a good bath to wash away the filth. So a very happy choti diwali to you all and stay prosperous.http://www.padhokhelo.com/happy-choti-diwali-narak-chaturdasi/http://www.padhokhelo.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Happy-choti-diwali.jpghttp://www.padhokhelo.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Happy-choti-diwali-150x150.jpgGreetingsChoti diwali,Diwali greetings,Narak Chaturdasi,WishingsHappy Choti Diwali to all!
